A quiet landing place

New material can wait in the inbox. Add a title or tags now, or return when you have the attention to organize it.

Bring a little of the web with you

Use the Rail Cove extension for Chrome and Edge to select a passage, image, link or page element. Review the title and source, then save it to your inbox, a collection or an editable canvas in a shared space. Capturing starts with your action.

  • Preview before saving
  • Keep a link to the original page
  • Retry a saved draft without duplicating it

Local processing first

Rail Cove gathers colors directly from your images and reads available document text locally. If a scanned page needs an outside text-recognition service, you choose whether to use it for that document.

Automatic tags you control

Automatic smart tags are on for new captures by default. Rail Cove adds a short set of generated tags to the saved item, where you can edit or remove them immediately. It does not scan older items when you turn the feature on.
