How to organize research visually
Separate source excerpts, your interpretation and open questions, then connect them with explicit relationships.
Keep the source attached
Save the original link or document with enough title and date information to find it again. Mark copied language as a quotation.
Write interpretation separately
A nearby note can say what the evidence means to you. Keeping it separate prevents a paraphrase from looking like the source’s claim.
Map agreement and tension
Group sources that address the same question. Add a connector label that says whether they support, complicate or contradict an idea.
