How to share a canvas thoughtfully
Choose the smallest access level that lets another person do what you intend.
Decide what participation means
Use viewer access for reading and editor access when someone should change board content. Keep ownership with the person responsible for access.
Review the whole board
Check source cards, comments and adjacent notes before inviting someone. Spatial proximity can reveal context you did not plan to share.
Revoke when the moment passes
Remove an invitation or turn off a shared link when it is no longer needed. Public links also become unavailable if the owner’s eligible plan ends or is downgraded. Test the link while signed out to confirm the result.
