Start from a real canvas template
Browse the deterministic starter metadata and use Quiet spaces, Coastal field notes, Kyoto notebook, or a blank canvas as a starting point.
Follow the steps
Open Templates from the workspace or browse the public template directory before signing in.
Choose Quiet spaces for a moodboard starting point, Coastal field notes for research notes and sources, or Kyoto notebook for a personal collection with visual memories.
Choose Use on the template, provide an optional title, and wait for the created board to open.
Edit the starter content, remove anything that does not belong to your question, and save the board as your own work. Choose Blank canvas when you want only open space.
What to know
- Templates are deterministic starter metadata and board content. They are not live examples from customers or an AI-generated recommendation.
- The current onboarding flow maps its three purposes to these three named starters, while also allowing blank creation.
- Template previews and sample labels are illustrative content. Do not describe them as a user's saved library or as verified source material.
Troubleshooting
- If a template is not listed, use the current /api/templates response as the authority rather than guessing a template ID.
- If Use fails, sign in and retry. Creating a board is an authenticated mutation.
- If the starter feels too specific, rename the canvas, remove cards, or choose Blank canvas for a clean starting point.
