Change your account email
Confirm a new email address without moving your canvases, collections or preferences.
Request and confirm a change
Sign in and open Settings → Profile. Verify your current email if verification is still pending.
Under A new address, the same cove, enter the new address and your current password. Choose Send confirmation link.
Rail Cove queues a confirmation email to your new address and a notice to your current address. Your current email remains active until you confirm.
Open the confirmation link and choose Confirm email change. Opening the page alone does not change anything. The link expires after one hour and works once.
Sign in using the new email and your existing password. Confirmation signs out all browser sessions. Your saved content and settings remain attached to the same account.
Cancel or recover
- A pending request appears in Profile. Choose Cancel email change to invalidate it. Requesting another change also invalidates older links.
- The link cannot be used if the address is already taken, the account was disabled, or the link expired. No partial email change is applied.
- Security notifications are transactional. Delivery failures are recorded and retried through the application's email jobs; a queued notice may take up to a minute to start.
