Plan an event or reminder
Set aside time for an idea with timed or all-day events, explicit timezones, linked canvases, and optional reminder email.
Create and edit an event
Open Calendar and choose New event. Enter a title, description, start and end values, time zone and optional linked canvas. Use All-day event for date ranges.
Add up to five Email reminders, from the start time through four weeks before it. Each offset must be different. Remove a reminder to stop it; removing all reminders keeps the event in your calendar.
Choose Save event. Overlapping times are allowed; the editor lists conflicting timed events so you can decide whether to keep both.
Month, week and agenda
- Month shows a date grid on wide screens and a readable event list on mobile. Choose + more on a crowded date to focus the full day agenda.
- Week keeps events in separate day groups, with written times and overlap labels. Titles wrap and mobile days stack vertically. Agenda lists upcoming events in order.
- Times retain each event’s time zone. Completed and all-day items are not flagged as timed conflicts. Back-to-back events are not overlaps.
Reminders and time zones
- Settings → Notifications must allow reminder email. Each current reminder is queued through the durable email service; changing a title does not send it again.
- All-day reminders use 9:00 AM in the event’s time zone as their anchor. Dates remain stable when viewed elsewhere. Nonexistent or repeated local times around daylight-saving changes need correction.
- Calendar features require Studio access or an existing equivalent grant.
Use another calendar app
Choose Export calendar and decide whether to Include reminders. Download .ics creates a snapshot of your calendar.
In Google Calendar on a computer, open Settings → Import & export, select the .ics file and destination calendar, then import.
In Apple Calendar on Mac, use File → Import and choose the downloaded file and destination calendar.
In Outlook on the web, open Calendar → Add calendar → Upload from file, select the .ics file and destination calendar, then import.
- The export is not a live subscription or two-way sync. Later edits and deletions do not update a previous import. Imported alert and color support varies between calendar apps.
Troubleshooting
- If a date rejects a time, choose a valid local time in the selected time zone and ensure the end is later than the start.
- If a reminder email does not arrive, check notification preferences and current subscription access. Provider acceptance does not prove inbox delivery.
- If an import appears shifted, check the destination calendar time zone. If export fails, the dialog keeps your choices so you can try again.
